During her judgeship at a Chinese court with appellate jurisdictions, she adjudicated hundreds of cases involving complex white-collar crimes and organized crime. While at the U.S.-Asia Law Institute of New York University School of Law, she worked with judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and professors from Asia and the US on various pressing legal problems. Her work covers data privacy and security, anti-corruption and anti-bribery, digital economy, and criminal justice. Before starting her own law firm, she served as part-time Of Counsel at Morrow Ni LLP, a firm focusing on complex commercial litigation.
Founder Chi Yin's practice is informed by 20 years of experience in the legal field across the Pacific. She is an expert in Chinese law and policy, with a deep understanding of their interaction with the U.S. legal and political systems. She applies her unique perspective as a former judge in China and a decade-long legal scholar at a prestigious research institute to her practice, and provides carefully tailored legal services to her domestic and international clients.
In her free time, Ms. Yin supports her community by providing pro bono legal work. She is a volunteer with the Neighborhood Legal Clinics of King County Bar Association.
